n Friday, FanDuel Group, in collaboration with MotorCity Casino, launched a fully integrated, real money online gaming experience for residents and visitors to the state of Michigan. The FanDuel Sportsbook & Casino app and the standalone FanDuel Casino app are both available for iOS and Android.
According to company officials, as a complement to FanDuel’s popular fantasy sports app, customers in Michigan can now use fantasy sports, sportsbook and casino winnings interchangeably between products.
Michigan marks the tenth state where FanDuel offers mobile sports betting, joining New Jersey, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Tennessee and Virginia. The online sports betting launch today complements the state-of-the-art FanDuel Sportsbook at MotorCity Casino in Detroit that opened in March 2020. It also marks the third state where FanDuel offers mobile casino games, joining New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
In addition, BetMGM launched its sports betting and iGaming app in Michigan too, giving customers access to a wide variety of betting options, as well as access to benefits tied to MGM Grand Detroit and MGM Resorts’ iconic casino-resorts nationwide.

The BetMGM app offers a user-friendly mobile gaming experience, giving sports fans in Michigan the opportunity to customize pre-game, live in-play, futures and parlay wagers. App users can access an expansive array of casino games including slot tournaments, progressive jackpots exclusive to Michigan, Blackjack, roulette, and video poker.
Integration with MGM Resorts’ M life Rewards program allows BetMGM users in Michigan the opportunity to redeem their gameplay for world-class experiences at MGM Resorts properties nationwide, including MGM Grand Detroit, as well as MGM Grand, Bellagio, and ARIA in Las Vegas, Borgata in New Jersey, and Beau Rivage in Mississippi.
Everi Digital, the online gaming division of Everi Holdings has also announced that it is now delivering its iGaming content in the state of Michigan through multiple online casino operators via its proprietary Remote Game Server (RGS).
Everi is partnering with multiple providers to offer a wide variety of its top-performing games, including Atomic Meltdown, Cash Machine, Double Ruby, Triple Threat, Smokin 777, and many more.

- Churchill Downs launched its online Sportsbook and iGaming via simultaneous launch of desktop web, mobile web, Apple iOS Native App and Android App under the operation of their nationwide racing and wagering brand TwinSpires. Michigan is the first of several states to launch TwinSpires Casino & Sports on GAN’s platform with the states of Colorado and Tennessee to follow upon regulatory approval.
- Wynn Resorts launched their ‘WynnBET’ branded internet sportsbook and internet casino leveraging GAN’s Platform, via desktop web, mobile web, and native Apple iOS and Android apps in association with the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians, which operates five casinos under the ‘Kewadin’ brand throughout northern Michigan.
