Group B was always going to be chaotic af! At the moment, three rounds in, we have four teams with the exact same score, 2:1. G2, NiP, ENCE, and Team Vitality still have everything to play for. Faze Clan too; at 1:2, they still have a shot… and a win against G2 would put them right back into the playoffs struggle.
G2 vs. Faze Clan predictions are coming in hot with G2 as the heavy favorite according to most CSGO bookmakers. Yessir, most bookies offer plenty of betting options for ESL Pro League group stage matches. After all, it’s the biggest CSGO event in March. It’s one of the biggest ones this year, come to think of it.
In addition to match-winners, bookies tend to offer all sorts of props as well as live betting options too. Top-tier contests such as this one always bring forth a lot of demand for CSGO betting, and bookies are there to sweeten the deal up.
The third day of #ESLProLeague group B has come to a close.

Back to G2 vs. Faze predictions, though! Let’s start the discussion with a few paragraphs on the most recent head-to-head clashes!
G2 vs. Faze Betting Predictions
First of all, this is going to be their first h2h clash in 2021. Last year, they played six matches, with three wins going each way. Yep, G2 vs. Faze betting was always difficult to predict. Still, most of these clashes happened before NIKo’s arrival.
Even though he hasn’t fueled the G2 fire the way everyone had hoped for, his influence is still noticeable. Now with JaCkz back in the starting lineup, we could see NiKo pop more often. They’re definitely going to need him at his best this Wednesday. Faze won’t go down without a fight… and I for one think their former star player will have a word via trial by combat!
Form
Form is often the characteristic that wins matches! If that’s really the case, which of these two has better shots at taking the big W this Wednesday? Well, it’s difficult to say!
G2 haven’t had much luck in recent months. Their last solid event dates all the way back to last August. NiKo’s arrival did bring them more firepower in their starting roster but, unfortunately, didn’t bring them any notable triumphs.
Much of the same can be said about Faze Clan too! They’ve had one good outing, though, a solid BLAST Premier Spring Groups campaign which pushed them through to the Season Finals. But, they’re not looking good. Karrigan could be the missing link – he’s definitely the type of player who can help a struggling team turn a new page. He’ll have to bring forth his A-game against G2, that’s for sure!
Map Depth
Which maps favor G2? Well, NiKo and the boys will want to get their hands on Vertigo or Mirage as that’s where they’ve been solid recently. Statistically, they should prevail on Dust 2 and Mirage, though both maps could go either way due to their chaotic nature and low percentages on both ends. Nuke and Overpass are the maps Faze Clan should reign supreme on. Well, Nuke is the only one they’re really superior on, Overpass is there because it’s G2’s permaban.
All in all, this section hasn’t really given us any concrete directions. This matchup could still go either way, right? Perhaps we’ll know more once we’re done with the final section!
Individual Qualities
G2 takes the win here, for sure! I mean, we all know NIKo still doesn’t have enough consistency, but his individual spark of brilliance ought to light up against his former team. It’s the perfect occasion for him to pop, and I expect him to do just that. Of course, JaCkz will have something to prove to. The newest (old) addition to G2 will have to use this event to cement his position in the starting lineup. Should they lose to Faze Clan and endanger their playoffs campaign, we might see another set of alterations swamp G2.
G2 to win at -132 is what I’m going with as our final G2 vs. Faze picks! A straightforward match-winner on NiKo and the boys. The Bosnian superstar should be the deciding factor in this one. Not only has he been one of G2’s best fraggers over the last few months, but he’s also the former star player of Faze Clan. NiKo has to show up to the occasion against his old team, right? Well, that’s what’s I’m counting on.
If he shows his true self on Wednesday, G2 could ace the test without needing the third map. If you love risk, perhaps that’s an option you could pursue here. The correct score 2:0 for G2 is currently at +200, which offers solid value for high-risk high-reward lovers. Odds are courtesy of BetOnline. Check out our BetOnline review here.
