Vitality vs. NiP Betting Predictions

First things first – yep, there’s a scenario in which Vitality get eliminated even if they beat NiP. If ENCE loses to Faze, and NiP loses to Vitality, ENCE, Vitality, and NiP will be in a three-way tie. That means we’re no longer looking at h2h results but map difference. In this scenario (which isn’t impossible, mind you), if Vitality defeat NIP 2:0 they’re through to the playoffs. But, if they win 2:1, they’re out on map difference.

Form

Vitality lost against ENCE, they really did! They didn’t just lose, they got their ass whooped, pardon my language. Allu was running circles around them all match long, snatching exceptional kills… and don’t even get me started on that sick 4K on Dust 2. So yeah, Vitality’s form is not the greatest. The thing is, they’ll be well-aware of it and ought to give 120% of themselves to make up for the previous loss and reach the playoffs.

However, NIP won’t be an easy task. They’ve already had a relatively successful mix of campaigns in 2021. At the moment, they’re sitting in the third place with three wins. A win against Vitality and they’re through to the playoffs. Heck, if Faze defeat ENCE, all they need is one map to go through. They’ve put themselves in a good position coming into the final round, that’s for sure!

Map Depth

Inferno and Train – these two maps have to go NiP’s way here! Train is Vitality’s permaban, and Inferno is a burning issue for their gameplay. On the bright side, the Frenchmen should be stronger on Overpass, and present a proper danger on everything else. The banning phase will be tough, but I have to give NiP the advantage here!

Individual Qualities

In normal circumstances, I’d go with Vitality here. I mean, come on – ZywOo is unstoppable… But things are far from normal in Vitality. While the French magician is still doing his thing, his teammates are nowhere to be seen. Shox has been struggling since the start of the event, and coming into this match, he’s definitely Vitality’s biggest liability.

I have to side with NiP here, I really do! They were lucky to run away with the win against Mousesports, that’s true, but they’ve still shown us a lot more than Vitality. Hampus and Plopski are running the show and I honestly believe they’ll swing past Vitality and secure the playoffs. Heck, if everything aligns correctly, two out of eight possible scenarios have them as the play-in stage candidates!

Of course, we have a less risky pick too – NiP match-winner at -169. But, if you’re already keen on betting on this particular matchup, going with +360 could be worth the hassle. That’s quite a big return, much more than one would imagine, especially after going through all of the above.

Both teams should snatch their map pick, and they’re both going to fancy their chances in the decider map.
