It’s time for group D, the final group of the ongoing ESL Pro League Season 13. We’ve had quite a few notable eliminations thus far; BIG, OG, Vitality, just to name a few. How will the story unfold in group D? Well, the first round of matches ought to show us a glimpse of what’s going to happen:
- Virtus.pro vs Endpoint
- Liquid vs Fnatic
- Astralis vs Evil Geniuses
The first match, Virtus.pro vs Endpoint, kicks off tomorrow at noon CET and will be an excellent introduction for things to come. Even though group B was labeled as the group of death right after the draw, it’s safe to say group D isn’t too far off either. Let’s take a look at the teams:
- pro
- Astralis
- Endpoint
- Liquid
- Fnatic
- Evil Geniuses

Endpoint is the only name that stands out here. Everyone else has the right to claim one of the top three spots leading into the playoffs. Everyone expects Astralis and Virtus.pro to go through, but the third-place race is going to be rather intense.
Virtus.pro vs Endpoint Betting Predictions
But, enough about group D! Let’s start discussing Virtus.pro vs Endpoint predictions to figure out which way this opening-round match will go!
Map Depth
No matter how experienced of an enthusiast you are for betting on CSGO, checking out the map pool stats is always a must! Though, you should always take them with a grain of salt, especially if you use HLTV’s platform for stats. I’m not saying it’s bad, I’m saying it might not perfectly reflect the teams’ capabilities on certain maps. You know how they say – lies, damned lies, and statistics!
What do the stats say about Virtus.pro vs Endpoint predictions? Well, Endpoint could have the upper hand on Train, but considering they both have Nuke as their permaban, it’ll be interesting to see how they approach the banning phase. Virtus.pro will fancy either Vertigo or Mirage. As for the decider, we’re probably looking at Inferno – both sides will feel comfortable on it, that’s for sure!
Form
Virtus.pro’s form is through the roof! They’ve been among the best teams in the world over the last few months, winning four three events since December. That’s three events in the last five outings. Their consistency has been splendid too – they are yet to finish outside of the top four since the start of their amazing run. Virtus.pro is a world-class team now; beating them is not an easy feat anymore!
There’s not really that much to be said about Endpoint. While they have been showing promising stuff over the last few weeks, they’re far from being a top-tier side. They rarely make it to the main stages of big events. But, wins against Nemiga, GODSENT, and Copenhagen Flames indicate they might be ready for the next step… though it’s highly unlikely they’ll do something noteworthy against Virtus.pro.
Individual Qualities
There’s no doubt in Virtus.pro’s individual qualities here. I mean, YEKINDAR and Jame are in top form, what more do you need? The Latvian fragmaster is showing no signs of stopping. With Jame as the designated sniper, VP have a fatal tandem in these two; a tandem capable of breaking down oppositions’ defenses without breaking a sweat.
That said, I strongly believe Virtus.pro are going to win this one. But, as you’d expect, match-winner on the CIS powerhouse isn’t a viable option. At -526, it’s not worth it. Unless you’re slapping together a wicked parlay, that is.
Correct score wager is not the ideal option either, as Endpoint could give VP a scare if they can get some steam rolling from the kickoff. Virtus.pro have been rather poor on Train – perhaps’ that Endpoint’s chance to reach the decider.
Back to some concrete Virtus.pro vs Endpoint predictions – if I’m not going for correct score or match-winner here, what am I going with?
Virtus.pro vs Endpoint Pick
Well, there’s a nice little prop based on the total rounds in the match. You can choose several options but I’ve found that over 50.5 at -333 has the most value. Even if we don’t see them going the extra length, Endpoint should be able to snatch more than nineteen rounds on two maps.
That’d be all for today! Let’s hope this interesting little special spices things up for us with a hefty return! Odds are courtesy of BetOnline. Check out our BetOnline review here
