BIG vs. forZe Funspark ULTI 2020 Pick
Extra Salt are in the grand finals, just like we’ve predicted! The NA boys reached victory following thrilling overtime on Nuke. It was a proper match, but we must focus our attention on the lower bracket finals. Having lost against Extra Salt, forZe have to go through BIG for a chance to have their revenge. It won’t be easy, though… BIG now have three consecutive wins following their opening-round loss to Extra Salt. Even if forZe does reach the grand finals, Extra Salt will have a map advantage since they’re the upper bracket seed.
It was a heated battle, but unfortunately we are the losers in it. 😪 pic.twitter.com/KjTR6vyuXi

There are no map advantages in this one, though! This is a straightforward bo3, just like the ones we’ve seen so far. There will be only one winner, and it’s on us to find out who!
Can you bet on this match? Of course, you can! Lots of esports betting sites already offer betting options for the lower bracket finals. Heck, they were available mere minutes after the end of forZe vs. Extra Salt. Talk about keeping up with the demand, huh?
Anyways, let’s focus on BIG vs. forZe tips, analyze both sides and see where that takes us!
BIG vs. forZe Betting Predictions
These two played several times against each other. Not this year, though, not with these exact rosters, so these encounters aren’t really that relevant. What ought to be relevant are the recent results of both teams, their map pool stats, and players with the highest potential of rising up for the challenge tomorrow.
Yep, those are the three sections we usually cover in our esports picks, why should this one be any different, right?
With those words, let’s start with the most recent results!
Recent Results
As stated earlier, forZe came into this competition with a terrible track record.
When I say terrible, I’m not exaggerating – forZe were outright awful before this one.
But, they managed to turn a new page against Virtus.pro in the opening round. True, they had a lot of luck on Overpass, but they did deserve the win. That was followed by a sweaty win against Complexity, with a fair bit of luck on Dust 2. Even though I keep mentioning luck, forZe players kept rising up to the challenge. They were in no way playing badly. After all, you know how they say – luck follows the brave!
BIG had just one good campaign this year. BLAST Premier Spring groups saw them qualify for the Spring Finals, something which they ought to be proud of. But, it’s safe to say the form they had last summer is nowhere to be found. SyrsoN keeps showing glimpses of his AWPing brilliance, but it’ll take much more than that to push BIG to the top five.
Map Depth
ForZe do have a slight map advantage coming into this one. You see, they perfectly counter BIG’s best maps. They’re excellent on Dust 2 and they always ban Vertigo. That leaves the Germans with Mirage and Overpass… but I doubt they’d settle with the latter in such an important match.
That pretty much settles this section of our BIG vs. forZe picks. But, can the Russians’ map pool superiority be enough for a win against the Germans? Let’s check out the final section before drawing the conclusion!
Individual Qualities
On paper, BIG is the better team here. Even though they had disappointing campaigns prior to this one, syrsoN and the boys are on the rise. Three consecutive matches will bring them that much-needed confidence. But, forZe won’t go down without a fight. They are aware they’re the underdogs, but they’ve already shown us they can win uphill struggles.
FL1T is in fine form and could turn out to be the winning man for forZe tomorrow. He failed to assert his dominance against Extra Salt in the upper bracket finals. If he gets a chance to have his revenge, I’m sure he’ll take it!
$100 Could Win You…$273.00
We’re going against the favorites once again. Why? Well, because of the map pool advantage that favors the CIS side, for the most part. You see, the map pool superiority combined with in-form FL1T should be just enough for them to push through. Then there’s the extra motivation in the form of grand finals’ revenge against Extra Salt. ForZe are going to win this one, mark my words!
