fuboTV subsidiary Fubo Gaming has secured market access for mobile sports betting through its Fubo Sportsbook in Mississippi, Louisiana and Missouri, the business announced on Thursday. The expansion brings the company’s reach to a total of 10 states less than one year since its formation.
The market access expansion results from the company’s existing partnership with Caesars Entertainment. The agreements provide statewide mobile access for sports betting, with the launch of Fubo Sportsbook subject to obtaining requisite regulatory approvals and, in certain jurisdictions, enactment of legislation, a press release explains.
“We are pleased to have the opportunity to extend our relationship with Caesars Entertainment as we expand access to Fubo Sportsbook across key markets in the U.S.,” said Scott Butera, president, Fubo Gaming. “Mississippi, Louisiana and Missouri all have passionate fan bases, particularly around college athletics, who will embrace our unique, immersive sports and wagering entertainment platform.”

This marks Fubo Gaming’s second round of market access deals with Caesars, following agreements reached in March 2021 for New Jersey and Indiana. Additional market access deals include Arizona, Iowa, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas.
Fubo Sportsbook launched in Q4 2021, and in addition to having market access to 10 states, the product is live in two: Iowa and Arizona. The product is described as “purpose-built to meet US sports fans’ growing demand for interactivity” through an industry-first integration of an owned-and-operated sports wagering platform with a live TV streaming experience.
By integrating with fuboTV, the mobile app delivers personalized omniscreen experiences that aim to turn passive viewers “into active participants.” Fubo Sportsbook’s proprietary Watching Now feature leverages fuboTV’s first-party user data to engage participants by recommending relevant bets based upon what they are streaming, even as they change the channel.
Fubo Gaming “intends to continue iterating the app,” launching additional features that will further integrate wagering into the fuboTV platform, in an effort “to create an even more immersive and personalized experience.”

Earlier this week, Fubo Gaming announced it partnered with NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers for an Ohio market access agreement. As a result of the deal, Fubo Sportsbook is set to become an Official Mobile Sports Betting Partner of the team when the wagering product launches in the state, pending requisite regulatory approvals.
The deal is set to further advance an existing long-term marketing partnership between Fubo Gaming and the Cavaliers, signed in October 2021, which seeks to help bolster Fubo’s sportsbook brand presence across the state and within the team’s fanbase.
The announcement comes on the heels of the legalization of sports gambling in the Buckeye State. Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine signed sports betting into law in December, with the market expected to open no later than February 2023.
The partnership with the NBA team will also see the opening of a 3,000 sq. ft. sports lounge inside Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, set to serve as a game-day destination for fans with incentives and special bonus offers provided by the sportsbook. Additionally, fans will be able to watch NBA games and other sporting events in the lounge.
