BetWarrior opens in Buenos Aires the largest sports betting bar in Latin America
The authorities of the Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo and BetWarrior held yesterday, after 7:00 p.m., the official opening of the largest sports betting bar in Latin America: BetWarrior Sportbar.
The new space dedicated to sports and betting is located in the slots room that operates under the horse racing track of the City of Buenos Aires.
The event was attended by about 250 people, including the main authorities of the operating company, together with many of Argentina’s leading sports journalists and several businessmen and executives of the industry.
Yogonet spoke exclusively with Santiago Gándara, Marketing Director of BetWarrior in Argentina, who said: “The intention of BetWarrior has been, since its arrival in Argentina, to focus on the user experience; and being an online product, we felt that we also needed to have a certain physical presence and contact with bettors.”
“This is how this space was born, our sportbar, to create a space where we can share content, meet face to face with our users, and where we can live different experiences with all of them,” he added.
When asked about the possibility of expanding this proposal to other gaming halls or spaces in Argentina, Gándara explained that the company is always looking for new opportunities: “We will continue to grow, and we are working on it. We have another similar project in the Casino Buenos Aires, and in bingos in the Province of Buenos Aires, but we want to move forward at a steady pace and today what brings us together is this opening, which has its own major dimensions and weight, located in the heart of the city.”
“The idea is to offer an experience to live sports in the best way, with friends, and in an entertaining environment. Obviously through BetWarrior, any user utilizing a cell phone can register and place bets, to which we will add special promotions and a lot of benefits. But with this sportbar what we seek is to give the public a 360 experience, where they can come to watch a soccer match, eat and have a drink with friends and live that passion, in an environment where betting is a complement to our offer,” said Gándara when describing the new space. “With BetWarrior Sportbar we see betting as content within a context that is related to the passion for sports in general,” he added.
Lastly, the executive highlighted the great debut they made with their online offer in Buenos Aires: “Our online gaming operation in the City of Buenos Aires shows a very positive balance in the first months of operation. We know that we are in a marathon, it is a long process in which we are making inroads with a new proposal, which still has to be known and developed, and although we are growing very well and above our own expectations, we have to keep moving forward and pushing users to get to know our product and the BetWarrior experience.”
