DraftKings and Live! Hospitality & Entertainment announced Monday that the country’s first Sports & Social DraftKings venue is set to be open this fall at Somerset Collection, a Michigan shopping destination located in Metro Detroit.
In July 2021, DraftKings and Sports & Social signed a strategic partnership deal to create “a unique food, beverage and entertainment experience” for customers. The upcoming collaboration is set to leverage Live! Hospitality & Entertainment’s experience in dining and entertainment venues, along with DraftKings’ sports gaming platforms.
Sports & Social DraftKings will offer a “premier live sports viewing and wagering experience” with a 32-foot LED media wall and premier gameday watch parties. Guests will be able to access DraftKings’ platform to play daily fantasy sports and wager on sports from their mobile devices across various sports, including football, basketball, baseball, golf, MMA, soccer, tennis and more while watching multiple games live.

The 10,400 square-foot space, located in the stand-alone building adjacent to Somerset Collection South, will include an exclusive DraftKings Lounge that can be utilized for private parties and events, as well as a dog-friendly outdoor patio. The venue will also offer live music and entertainment multiple days a week, as well as a variety of social games, such as skeeball, hoops, Beirut, foosball, shufflepuck and arcade games.

The venue will also offer a menu featuring made-from-scratch gameday favorites, curated cocktails, specialty drinks, including its signature Crush selection, and a variety of beers from national brews to local favorites. Customers will be able to enjoy special food and beverage-focused events throughout the week, including a brunch experience on Saturdays and Sundays.
