Records were broken at iGB L!VE 2023, which achieved unprecedented success with 7,229 unique attendees visiting RAI Amsterdam for the iGaming industry expo, marking a 44% increase from the previous year. Additionally, the all-time high figures mark a 54% surge from the 2019 edition, held before the Covid pandemic.

Organizer Clarion Gaming revealed the insights, which it claims “confirm the strength of the iGB L!VE brand as a powerful route to market.” iGB L!VE also attracted a record 14,500 on-site visits to the expo across 11– 14 July

Out of the 207 exhibitors, the overwhelming majority quickly secured their spots for iGB L!VE 2024 “within days of the show closing.” Notably, 68% of attendees at the RAI Amsterdam represented their organization’s decision-making team, with CEOs forming the largest visitor group, according to Clarion.

Naomi Barton, Portfolio Director responsible for iGB L!VE, expressed delight at the event’s success, stating: “Our creative for 2023 was ‘Another Level,’ and I’m absolutely delighted that the international community of B2B visitors and affiliates helped bring that messaging to life.”

“We constantly track the pre-registration data and the similarity between the predicted and the actual attendance shows what was a marginal drop-off – another sign that iGB L!VE attendees are serious industry players. In terms of the audience segments 62% were from the B2B side of the industry and 38% were from our affiliate community.”

The event had a variety of elements and features, such as the Consumer Protection Zone, introduced for the first time in iGB L!VE 2023; and a learning program with contributions from senior government officials and regulators from France, The Netherlands, Malta, and Curacao.

Additionally, the introduction of the iGB INTRODUCING onsite meetings hub successfully facilitated peer networking and business generation.

Looking ahead to iGB L!VE 2024, Barton announced expansions due to sustained customer demand and industry growth. The event will venture into new halls at the RAI Amsterdam, offering a larger and more prominent setting. 80% of the available space has already been booked a year before the show’s opening, added Clarion.
