Nothing says summer holiday like Las Vegas July 4th fireworks and a three day weekend! Where are the best fireworks displays? And where are the best places to watch them? Plus, there are pool parties, parades, and concerts to attend all weekend long!
Las Vegas July 4th fireworks is not only about pyrotechnics. It’s about pool parties and parades as well. And if you’re gonna be in town, heck you might as well take in a show. So, This week in gambling, we’re having a look at what’s going on in and around Sin City over the long holiday weekend, beginning with fireworks displays, and no one does it better than Caesar’s Palace. Their massive show will begin about 9 pm on Friday, July 4th, with other strip resorts expected to join in with their own displays.
The best viewing locations will be the sidewalks and fountains at Caesar’s, as well as outside of the Horseshoe, Bellagio, and LINQ. If you would prefer to stay downtown, however, then the Plaza near Fremont Street is your only choice for a firework show, starting around 9:15 pm and continuing every Friday night, all summer long additional displays will be held around the Vegas Valley at the Durango and Red Rock Casinos, as well as the M and Green Valley Ranch Resorts.
Of course, if you’d like to watch the rockets red glare from someplace with a bit more sophistication, then you might wanna stay at the circa. One of several rooftop parties on the 4th of July. The Star Spangled Glamor will take place on the 60th floor of the circa at their legacy club with amazing views, specialty cocktails, live music, and patriotic bites. The Strat will host an indoor outdoor 4th of July fireworks viewing party from their tower observation deck. With food, drinks and the best views in Vegas next resorts world is hosting their ultimate 4th of July escape at the Athena Infinity Ultra Pool with special food entertainment and a $150,000 red, white, and blue slot tournament. And don’t forget about the 4th of July party at Ghost Bar, located on the 55th floor of the Palms and after the fireworks. That party continues with local DJs playing hits from the 80’s, 90’s, and 2000’s.
Now while Las Vegas July 4th watch parties and fireworks are great, there are still plenty of ways to spend the rest of your time in Vegas, such as taking in a parade like the Summerlin Council Patriotic Parade on July 4th at 9 am, or the Boulder City Jamboree Parade and Festival, also at 9 am, with their own firework show that evening at 9 pm. You can also catch a free show during the Downtown Rocks Concert series on Fremont Street as Craig Morgan takes the Third Street Stage on July 4th at 9 pm, plus New Kids on the Block continue their residency at Park MGM on July 2nd, 3rd, and 5th, while Kelly Clarkson returns for her studio sessions residency at Caesar’s on July 4th and 5th.
And finally this week, there will be plenty of pool parties for the 4th of July three day weekend. Most of them will have DJs. Guests are invited to take in the sun and fun at the Encore Beach Club at Wynn, Tau Beach at Venetian, and the Palm Tree Beach Club at MGM Grand. You may also enjoy the Liquid Pool Lounge at Aria, or the Ipanema Beach Club at Rio. And of course, what summer pool party would be complete without hot dogs, which you can find at the Weenies and Bikinis party, located at Stadium Swim on top of Circa Las Vegas. Hey.
