Dale Academy has won the SiGMA Pitch South America competition in São Paulo with a model centered on workforce training for the gaming sector across Latin America.
The competition, organized by the SiGMA Group during the BiS SiGMA South America Summit, took place on April 9 at the Jardins Stage with sponsorship from SOFTSWISS.
Dale Academy curator Fellipe Fraga accepted the award and presented the winning pitch on behalf of the company.
Dale Academy’s platform focuses on certification, training, and professional development tailored to the gaming industry. The company’s approach addresses workforce requirements tied to compliance and operational roles.
During the presentation, Fraga outlined gaps in the Latin American market, including limited access to structured training aligned with industry-specific roles and regulatory requirements.

From applicants to finalists on a live stage
The South America edition of the SiGMA Pitch drew more than 100 applicants. Six companies advanced to the final round, presenting their concepts live before a panel of judges.
The event was hosted by Mark Borg, Sales Manager & Voiceover Artist at SiGMA World, who served as emcee during the presentations.
Finalists were evaluated based on innovation, scalability, market fit, and execution capability. These criteria were applied to assess how each company positioned its offering within existing market conditions, pointing to the continued development of the startup environment in South America.
Judging panel assesses commercial and operational relevance
The judging panel included professionals from investment and industry backgrounds:
- Vinícius Moraes De Carvalho
- Solene Feuillu
