BetMGM has opened a cabana sportsbook at Tailgate Beach Club, a new sports and pop culture dayclub located at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
The BetMGM Sportsbook at Tailgate Beach Club offers guests poolside access to an in-person outdoor wagering window, and it is the company’s first poolside sportsbook.
Guests can place bets at the outdoor window, and they can also sign up for the BetMGM app while on-site. The operator’s single account and single wallet system allows players to use one account and the same funds at participating BetMGM mobile and retail sportsbooks. Digital and static signs that display live odds add to the sports-viewing experience throughout the venue.
“Tailgate Beach Club has quickly become one of the most exciting places in Las Vegas to watch live sports, and the addition of the BetMGM Sportsbook gives fans another way to get in on the action,” said Matt Prevost, Chief Revenue Officer at BetMGM.
“As more people travel to Las Vegas for marquee sporting events, we’re focused on creating unique experiences that bring together sports, entertainment and betting,” Prevost added.
The Tailgate Beach Club location joins BetMGM’s existing retail operations along the Las Vegas Strip, where the company runs 10 sportsbooks at MGM Resorts properties.
Tailgate Beach Club sits steps from Allegiant Stadium. The dayclub has three heated pools, premium cabanas, and more than 145 feet of LED screens, which provide a 360-degree viewing experience for up to 2,000 guests.
The venue opens during major sporting events throughout the season. It combines game-day energy with live entertainment and food and beverage offerings, and MGM describes its poolside atmosphere as unique to the Las Vegas Strip.
