SBC will hold a special edition of SBC Digital Brazil Day on Wednesday, with a focus on the regulated betting market in Brazil. The free online event begins at 11 a.m. Brasília time and is expected to run for about four hours.
SBC organized the program in partnership with the National Association of Games and Lotteries (ANJL) and the Brazilian Association of International Gaming Operators and Providers (ABRAJOGO).
More than 30 participants from different fields will join the sessions, which carry the theme “Betting: Beyond the Narrative – Between Facts, Perceptions and Consequences,” to discuss the current state of the sector in Brazil.
A “Fact or Fake” test for public perceptions
The program follows a “Fact or Fake” format. Under this approach, statements and perceptions about betting that circulate in the press and in society will go before the experts, who will respond with explanations backed by verifiable sources.
According to the organizers, the goal is to widen access to qualified information beyond the industry’s own audience.

The event is divided into six consecutive blocks, and each one is scheduled to begin on the hour.
The first panel, at 11 a.m., will review the events and decisions that defined the Brazilian market. ANJL President Plínio Lemos Jorge will take part in the discussion alongside Ana Helena Pamplona, Eliane Nunes, Natalia Nogues, Magnho José and Neil Montgomery.
