evada’s Clark County released Friday a list of the businesses that were found to be in violation of the mask mandate issued by Governor Steve Sisolak.

On the Las Vegas Strip, businesses that were put on notice for face-covering violations included Aria Resort and Casino, where customers were seen without masks and not social distancing, KSNV reports. At Silverton Casino Lodge, there was a lack of social distancing at the Mermaid Show on July 2. Mandalay Bay also failed to enforce social distancing at the pool on July 3.

On June 26, Gov. Sisolak mandated that everyone must wear a mask indoors at businesses and outdoors when six feet of social distancing is not possible to curb the spread of COVID-19. Clark County officials, who oversee many casinos on the Strip, visited more than 1,600 businesses since then, as reported by Eater Las Vegas. Only 38 businesses were found in violation of the mask order and authorities issued notices meant to educate the staff on how to properly follow the directive.
