Steelers vs Ravens AFC North Game Preview
These two AFC North divisional rivals have played against each other 52 total times with the Steelers leading the series at 28-24. Yet, they’re 23-23 since 1999. The Ravens swept both games last season and look to extend the streak to three in a row.
- Pittsburgh Steelers (6-0) is coming off an impressive win as they beat the Tennessee Titans last weekend. The Steelers are the only unbeaten team left in the NFL and look to stay undefeated with a win over their bitter rival. Can the Steelers get a big divisional win on Sunday?
- Baltimore Ravens (5-1) is coming off a bye week and has had two weeks to prepare for their hated rivals. Additionally, they get to play at home which is another advantage for the Ravens. Baltimore has won three in a row, but can they be the first to beat Pittsburgh this year?

Free NFL Sports Bet and Game Prediction: Steelers +3.5 (-100)
Once again, I am surprised that the Steelers are this big of an underdog. They were also an underdog versus the Titans last weekend and we saw how good Pittsburgh can be when they went into Tennessee and handed the Titans their first loss of the season.
This weekend, they play a divisional rival in Baltimore, which means it will be a physical game for all four quarters. And, a contest that I don’t see ending with a scoring difference of more than a field goal either way.
Pittsburgh brings in one of the best rush defenses in the league and we all know that Baltimore is all about the run. They average 164.3 rushing ypg while Pittsburgh allows just 68.8 ypg. This specific matchup will be like a 12 round heavyweight fight.
Another key matchup is the Steelers pass rush versus Baltimore’s pass protection. I believe the Steelers will stack the box to stop the run and be able to create pressure with just their front four. The Ravens offensive line will have their toughest test since the Chiefs game in Week 3.
The best rivalries are those where the two sides are actually competitive with each other and it doesn’t get much better than Steelers vs. Ravens. pic.twitter.com/uxnpRCw52v

The Steelers offense will also have a tough time moving the ball as the Ravens are allowing just 368.8 ypg and just 17.3ppg. In fact, these are two of the top scoring defenses as the Steelers allow just 19.7ppg.
I see the Ravens secondary holding up well against this Steelers passing attack. I also see Baltimore getting after Big Ben and causing some chaos in the backfield.
Ultimately, I believe these two teams are evenly matched and that means it should be a close scoring game. With that said, I am taking the Steelers spread of +3.5 points. I don’t see the Steelers losing by more than a field goal. In fact, I believe they have a solid shot at winning on Sunday.
This could end up being a low scoring game with these two defenses, which also plays into an outcome where a field goal will determine the winner. I give the advantage to the Steelers defense in this slugfest and I’m taking them to win 23 to 20.
Baltimore QB Lamar Jackson will have to play like the 2019 NFL MVP that he was in order for the Ravens to have a shot at winning outright. As of now, we haven’t seen much of last year’s MVP and I find it hard to believe he will have a great deal of success against this elite defense.
