No one had thought these two will be fighting in the decider map considering just how well they’ve done on BLAST Premier Fall Finals. This is basically the replay of that match, a highly anticipated fixture that possesses solid values on several fronts!

CSGO betting in 2020 isn’t finished just yet! IEM XV Global Challenge is the final event of the year, with Astralis vs. Vitality picks being one of the last few remaining betting battlegrounds. If you’ve been saving up money for a proper clash, then this is what you’ve been waiting for!

Let’s be clear here right away – no one expected Astralis to drop to the lower bracket in group A. Heck, no one thought the Germans would show off such an impressive display and shove Astralis down to the decider match. The same can’t be said about Vitality, though. I mean, people expected them to go down to Astralis in the winners’ match, but they slipped right off the bat against BIG.

The two teams that should’ve gone through are now fighting for the last remaining spot with BIG already in the playoffs, waiting for the winner of group B’s decider match. Both contests will be interesting, that’s for sure, but our task here are Astralis vs. Vitality picks so let’s concentrate on that!

Map Depth

Last time out, Astralis picked Vertigo, Vitality picked Dust 2, and Inferno ended up as the deciding map. This time around, we might see a different lineup of maps. Astralis ought to go for Nuke against Vitality tomorrow. That’s their safest bet considering the fact they’ve won just nine maps in total on Vertigo and Inferno last time.

But, we gotta give credit where it’s due, and Vitality’s map pool definitely looks better here. They’ll have more options… but I’m sure zonic and the boys have a couple of aces up their sleeves!

Roster Quality

This was always going to be tough to call with Astralis and Vitality on the line. On one end, we have what people typically label as the greatest team of all time; a roster with five equally superb individuals featuring impeccable teamwork. On the other end, we have ZywOo, the best CSGO player for two years straight!

However, Astralis managed to contain ZywOo last time out. The thing is, they still failed to win the match because apEX and misutaaa rose to the occasion, and with some style, if I may add. What does this have to do with our Astralis vs. Vitality picks? Well, roster quality and form discrepancies are always important. In this case, the fact that ZywOo wasn’t even the best Vitality’s player in their last h2h win against Astralis means a lot!

Astralis vs. Vitality Picks

Yessir, we’re going with Vitality here, but I reckon this one is going to be a lot more intense than BLAST Premier Fall grand finals. How come? Well, the last match was a pretty massive surprise. As said earlier, ZywOo wasn’t as influential as he usually is. Sure, he was still the top fragger for Vitality, but it wasn’t one of his best matches this year.

On top of that, misutaaa had a proper blast on Vertigo and Inferno, having scored 41 kills and just 19 deaths. He got flying marks for his contribution on both maps, just like apex who also had a proper blast against the Danes last time out.

While I do think this match will be a lot tighter, I can’t really recommend going for a riskier but more valuable Vitality to win 2:1. Momentum means a lot in matches featuring two top-tier sides such as these, so a 2:0 blowout seems as likely as a three-map thriller… it just depends on who wins the first round and how able they are as a team to transition their form to the second map.
