Kindred Group has published key metrics for its responsible gambling work with Swedish customers that show signs of problematic gaming behavior. With sports betting to become legal in Massachusetts next week, state regulators are working on setting up the final rules for the market. Gaming commissioners have now approved sports betting options and addressed player safety concerns. Fanatics is reportedly in talks to acquire the BetParx sportsbook, unidentified sources told CNBC. The sports apparel giant, which has recently entered the sports betting space, currently has a valuation of $31 billion and has been exploring acquisitions of sportsbooks as it moves further into the new vertical. New South Wales Labor has promised to ban political donations from clubs amid the ongoing fight over poker machines in the Australian state. Caesars Entertainment confirmed Monday that it is partnering with Raynham Park in Massachusetts on a new Caesars Sportsbook retail location. The plan comes as the Bay State works on launching its new sports gaming industry by the end of the month. The sports betting heavyweight’s partnership with Raynham Park, just south of Boston, would mark Caesars’ first in-person foray into the state, pending approval by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission. Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt said in an interview on Friday that he wants sports betting legalized this year. Ontario bettors can now wager again on Ultimate Fighting Championship events, as the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) reinstated betting on the sport in the Canadian province on Thursday.  The organization had ordered registered entities to stop offering and accepting wagering on the UFC in late December “due to non-compliance with AGCO’s betting integrity requirements.” But this week, the commission reinstated betting since the UFC has “updated its policies and procedures.” The changes include an amendment to UFC’s athlete conduct policy to prohibit insiders from placing any wagers on any match. On Thursday, hundreds of picketers from the Culinary union, partners from the Nevada AFL-CIO, and current and former Station Casinos employees protested outside of the company’s headquarters in Las Vegas.
