The World Series of Poker (WSOP) and GGPoker Network announced Tuesday the addition of three WSOP bracelet events on the WSOP.ca online poker room. The UFC now prohibits its fighters from betting on any fight within the promotion, regardless of their level of involvement. The change was introduced as part of the UFC’s updated Athlete Code of Conduct in an effort to curb violations that may result in criminal charges, prevent inside betting, and maintain the integrity of the sport. Sports-first live TV streaming platform FuboTV announced Monday that the company will close its Fubo Gaming subsidiary and cease operations of its Fubo Sportsbook effective immediately. Online sportsbook BetUK has announced an exclusive sponsorship deal with Arena Racing Company (ARC), the owners and operators of four of the six all-weather horse racing courses in the UK. Online sports betting and gaming operator Estelarbet announced that it has signed an agreement with Sportradar through which the sports technology company will provide live-streaming sports content to the Latin American brand for the Peruvian and Chilean markets. Sports betting giant FanDuel has won its appeal in a New York lawsuit brought by former founders, early investors and employees who claimed they were cheated out of the proceeds of its 2018 merger with Irish bookmaker Flutter Entertainment. A state appeals court in Manhattan said Thursday that FanDuel shareholders, led by co-founder and first CEO Nigel Eccles, failed to make a valid legal claim against the company under the law of Scotland, where FanDuel is incorporated, reports Bloomberg. Bally’s Las Vegas announced Friday it has now opened its new 7,000-square-foot arcade. Known as The ARCADE, the amenity comes as the resort continues its rebrand into Horseshoe Las Vegas, occupying the property’s former sportsbook space.
