Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers and Chairman Robert VanZile Jr. of the Sokaogon Chippewa Community announced Friday the signing of an agreement that allows the Tribe to offer event wagering at its Mole Lake Casino & Lodge and other locations within its reservation.  This deal, which amends the Sokaogon’s gaming compact with the state, will enable the Tribe to offer wagering on sports and other events. According to data released by the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau, Macau has seen yet another month of slowdown, with gaming revenue falling 49.6%, as China’s snap lockdowns to control Covid-19 outbreaks discouraged tourists from visiting the gambling hub. Gross gaming revenue dropped to 2.96 billion patacas ($366 million), which was in line with the median analyst estimate of a 50% year-over-year decline, extending a slump that started in March. The European Casino Association announced last Wednesday the return of UK casino operators as members of the association. The measure was taken at the ECA General Assembly and Casino Industry Forum, held at Casino Baden in Austria on September 28 and 29. The World Series of Poker (WSOP) and GGPoker Network announced Friday that WSOP.ca, a WSOP-branded online poker room regulated by iGaming Ontario, is now available in the Canadian province following the successful soft launch of its software.
