Chicago-based real estate investment firm Oak Street Real Estate Capital has acquired the Macau Casino in Lakewood, Washington state, for $22.1 million, according to a sales affidavit posted with Pierce County Tuesday. The seller was a limited liability company affiliated with Kirkland-based Maverick Gaming. Wisconsin’s Potawatomi Hotel & Casino in Milwaukee announced on Thursday it has promoted Kerry Janovitch to Chief Financial Officer, after being the property’s Accounting Director for the last seven years. Additionally, Garret Finocchiaro was recently hired as the casino’s first Chief Information Officer. The city of Las Vegas approved Wednesday an agreement with the operators of the Strat to build a $200,000 pedestrian viewing deck along a Las Vegas Boulevard sidewalk, which will allow visitors to view or be photographed with the mammoth Gateway Arches in the north Strip as their backdrop.
