International Game Technology (IGT) announced Thursday it has signed a multi-site technology agreement with Qullqi to deploy its Floor Manager systems technology at the operator’s seven casinos across Peru. Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River Casino & Hotel has broken ground on its planned $275 million expansion. Representatives for Caesars Entertainment and the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians (EBCI) held a ceremony celebrating the commencement of the development at the Murphy, North Carolina property, located in the western part of the state. The numbers are in from August, and they show that the state generated over $1.2 billion for the last full month of summer. The Massachusetts State Lottery reported a net profit of $1.105 billion for the Commonwealth during the 2022 fiscal year, which began on July 1, 2021, and ended on June 30, 2022. Xpoint has announced a new multi-million dollar round of investment funding that is set to support the company’s growth in the USA, Canada and worldwide. Legal online gaming in Indiana wouldn’t be a threat to the Hoosier State’s casino industry, a new study commissioned by the Indiana Gaming Commission and conducted by Spectrum Gaming Group found.
