Content provider to the iGaming industry Pragmatic Play announced Monday it is growing its presence in South America through a multi-product deal with operator Sysgaming. Swedish gambling regulator Spelinspektionen has banned Casineia operator Ease Gaming NV from offering games of chance in Sweden. The site was found to be operating in the jurisdiction without a license.  After an inspection, Ease Gaming’s other websites -Slothive, Gamblii and Jinxcasino- were also forbidden to operate in the country. Former New Hampshire senator and Concord businessman Andy Sanborn hopes to build a new 43,000-square-foot casino and entertainment venue on the city’s east side, according to local media reports. Sanborn told planning board members Wednesday that the new gambling venue would bring both jobs and revenue to Concord. Gambling and multimedia company JefeBet announced Wednesday the renovation and rebrand of the Lucky Club Hotel & Casino in North Las Vegas. The brand, oriented to Spanish-speaking Americans and operated by Fifth Street Gaming (FSG), officially broke ground at what will now be known as the Ojos Locos Sports Cantina y Casino at Hotel Jefe. The Nevada Gaming Commission granted final approval Thursday to Bally’s Corp purchase of the Tropicana Las Vegas casino. The operator is set to acquire the property for $308 million from Penn National Entertainment.  Bally’s intends to make the Tropicana its western flagship operation, with the deal expected to formally close between Sunday and Monday. The land where the resort is located, however, will continue to be owned by real estate investment trust Gaming and Leisure Properties, which is affiliated with Penn. Online sports betting operator PlayUp is set to go public on NASDAQ through a special purpose acquisition (SPAC) merger with IG Acquisition Corp (IGAC). PlayUp will list on the NASDAQ via a newly-formed Irish company.
