Kansas took another step to bring legalized sports betting to the Sunflower State after the Racing and Gaming Commission approved regulations for the upcoming market. Nationwide commercial US gambling revenue totaled $14.81 billion in Q2 2022, according to the American Gaming Association’s (AGA) Commercial Gaming Revenue Tracker. The Casino Association of New Jersey (CANJ) announced Thursday that its members have selected Resorts Casino Hotel CEO Mark Giannantonio to replace Joe Lupo as president of the trade organization, effective immediately.  The move comes as Lupo, president of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, is relocating to Las Vegas to run the Mirage Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas once the company completes its purchase from MGM Resorts International. Casino-entertainment giant Caesars Entertainment announced that a revamped Caesars Sportsbook app will launch in Nevada later this year, with faster payouts and more betting options including same-game parlays. The Ohio Lottery has revised and modified its rules on cashing in sports bets, making it easier for winners to receive their prizes at any lottery retailer.
