The UK’s Betting and Gaming Council has demanded “urgent action” by the next Prime Minister to protect the hospitality and leisure sector from “catastrophic” energy price hikes. According to figures released last week by New Jersey’s Division of Gaming Enforcement, internet gambling and sports betting have helped propel the Borgata casino in July to the best month an Atlantic City casino has ever had.  The city’s top-performing casino won more than $124 million from in-person casino gamblers, internet wagering and sports betting. The Kansas Attorney General’s Office said it has now approved three of the Kansas Lottery’s regulations on sports betting. The General Secretariat of Commercial Gambling Management Commission of Cambodia (CGMC) of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) has announced the renewal of 70 licenses to casino and game of chance companies in the second quarter of this year. The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has requested that Australian internet service providers block more illegal offshore gambling and affiliate marketing websites.
