Sports betting operator Betfred Sports announced an agreement with Long Shot’s -a 100% female-owned OTB parlor- in Frederick, Maryland to bring retail and online sports betting to the state pending regulatory approval. In a press release issued Wednesday, the company announced that a temporary retail sportsbook will be adjacent to the Maryland Jockey Club’s OTB within Long Shot’s for the 2022 football season. The UK Gambling Commission announced Thursday it has decided to suspend the operating license of the iGaming website bet-at-home.com as it carries out a review under section 116 of the Gambling Act 2005.
