The Ohio Casino Control Commission on Wednesday began accepting applications for three types of sports betting licenses, as part of the timeline toward the January 1, 2023 statewide launch date for retail and online operators. The regulator will begin sharing the list of applicants on Friday. Boring Company’s Vegas Loop has earned permission to extend from the Resort Corridor into downtown Las Vegas. Atlantic City casino workers authorized Wednesday a call to strike against the venues if new agreements are not reached by the beginning of July. According to an audit issued by Colorado’s Office of the State Auditor on Monday, which analyzed how the Division of Gaming has regulated the first full year of legal sports betting in the state, the division allegedly hands out too many temporary licenses. The U.S. Supreme Court has sided with two Native American tribes in their fight with the State of Texas over authorized gambling on their respective lands.
