Stockholm-based gaming developer LL Lucky Games AB (Lady Luck Games)  announced Friday the completion of the acquisition of ReelNRG, with the business having been taken over on that day, May 27. The deal was first announced in April. The parties have agreed on a purchase price of SEK 8.25 million ($845K), which will consist of 2.5 million shares in an issue at share price of 3.30 SEK ($0.34). Former CEO of Football Index, Adam Cole, has been deemed a persona non-grata by the Jersey Gambling Commission, citing the executive’s past rack record. The Colorado Division of Gaming reported Friday the monthly sports betting figures corresponding to April 2022, with a total handle of $392.3 million, a 22.4% decrease from March, when the state perceived a total of $505.6 million. However, in a year-over-year comparison, April showed a 60.5% increase in handle. Colorado is now less than $88 million away from reaching the $2 billion handle mark for 2022, a total that took the state eight months to reach in 2021. New rules went into effect Friday morning, banning smoking at table games at Bally’s Twin River Lincoln and Tiverton casinos, following a workers’ rally last week asking for this measure to be enforced, noting the health hazards associated with secondhand smoke.  From now on, customers who wish to smoke must leave the table and use a smoking receptacle on the outer perimeter of the table games area, according to spokeswoman Patti Doyle.
