International Game Technology (IGT) announced Monday its subsidiary, IGT Global Services Limited, has signed a six-year contract with Singapore Pools Limited to provide IGT’s central lottery system, Aurora, and its related technologies.  “IGT’s Aurora was built to drive lottery innovation and profitability and will offer reliability for Singapore Pools’ high volume of transactions”, the company stated. The Kentucky House passed sports betting-related bills Friday, taking a further step to eventually regulate it and reap tax revenue from related wagering activities. A D.C. federal judge has granted Washington’s motion to pause a suit from gambling operator Maverick Gaming alleging the state allows Native American tribes to hold a monopoly on gambling rights, reports Law360. Two Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA) casinos are turning 26 this month: the Northern Lights Casino in Prince Albert and the Gold Eagle Casino in North Battleford, which both opened in March of 1996.
