Ontario’s iGaming and sports betting industry continued to thrive in the third quarter of fiscal year 2023-24. The province generated CAD 658 million ($488 million) in revenue over Q3, an increase of 22% when compared to second-quarter figures.  The activity recorded runs from October 1st to December 31st, 2023, and does not include information on all operators with gaming websites that had trading activity during that period. The Brazilian government is preparing a system to monitor, in real-time, all online bets made by companies that register to operate in the country. The Federal Data Processing Service will develop the program to identify tax fraud,  monitor gamblers’ profiles, and alert them on possible addictions.
