The proposed Golden Nugget casino in Danville, Illinois, has now cleared another hurdle on its road to becoming a reality. The four members of the state’s Gaming Board unanimously approved Danville Development LLC and its application as being preliminarily suitable for a casino owners’ license in the capital city of Vermilion County. An Alabama Senate committee approved on Wednesday a legislative proposal seeking to expand gambling in the state. After a drop of 4.7% in January in a decline by 45.71 points, the AGEM Index published its numbers for February showing an improvement by 27.08 points to 952.95, marking a 2.9% increase from the first month of the year.
