Provider of player acquisition services Gambling.com has signed an agreement to acquire Roto Sports, operator of expert fantasy sports news and advice provider RotoWire.com, the company announced on Monday. The move is set to accelerate Gambling.com’s U.S. expansion. Both parties have entered into a definitive agreement, and the transaction is expected to close “in early January 2022,” according to a press statement. Sports betting at Chicago stadiums has received a key push after a joint City Council committee agreed on Monday to lift the ban on this form of wagering, which would allow sportsbooks in and around five stadiums.  The Committee on Zoning and License has now advanced the stalled ordinance to the full council after the addition of a clause aimed at promoting diversity. After the introduction of Senate Bill 764 by state Sen. Tony Luetkemeyer in Missouri, there has been a strong push to pass it in the upcoming legislative session to legalize sports gambling in the state.  The bill would make sports betting legal, both online with geofencing, and in-person. In a push to enact tax breaks for Atlantic City’s casinos, a New Jersey Assembly Appropriations Committee passed an amended version of the Casino PILOT bill 8-2. The bill seeks to remove sports and internet gaming revenues from the calculation of what casinos owe in-lieu-of property taxes. The bill passed in an amended version, making it identical to a Senate President-backed version, reports The Press of Atlantic City. iGaming solutions provider Aspire Global has signed an agreement to acquire 25% of bingo supplier END 2 END, the company announced last Friday. The deal is valued at $1.75 million in cash, with an option to acquire all of the shares in three or five years. Newly regulated US states are set to outperform established markets next year, research by gambling bonus comparison site BonusFinder.com predicts. According to its Bonus Index forecast, New York, Maryland and North Carolina will oust Arizona, Indiana and Colorado from the top 10 highest-performing states.
