In Week 7, two of the three remaining unbeaten teams will battle it out for the top spot in the AFC as the Tennessee Titans host the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Steelers are coming off a complete thrashing of the Cleveland Browns and have one of the best defenses in the league. The Titans pulled out an OT win over the Texans last week and hope for some more on-field magic this Sunday. Kickoff inside Nissan Stadium is at 1PM ET.

Steelers vs Titans NFL Game Preview
The Steelers and Titans have played against each other 78 total times with Pittsburgh leading the all-time series at 46-32. Pittsburgh has won two in a row and five of the last seven meetings.
- The Pittsburgh Steelers (5-0) has exploded on offense with Big Ben back at QB. However, it’s their defense that is dominating. In fact, it’s arguably the best in the league. With an elite defense and a high scoring offense, Pittsburgh is going to be a tough out for any team.
- The Tennessee Titans (5-0) have surprised the league with their unbeaten record. Tennessee’s offense has also been explosive as QB Ryan Tannehill is playing like an NFL MVP candidate. The defense has some concerns, but they’ve made plays when needed. Can Tennessee’s defense show up this week?

Free NFL Sports Bet and Game Prediction: Steelers (+102)
This entire game is going to come down to Pittsburgh’s front seven versus Tennessee’s offensive line. More specifically, Pittsburgh’s rush defense versus the Titans rushing attack.
Pittsburgh is allowing just 66.2 rushing ypg while the Titans are putting up 157.8 rushing ypg. Tennessee’s Derrick Henry has put up 588 yards and 6 rushing TDs in five games so far. However, Pittsburgh has not allowed a running back to go over 100 yards rushing this season.
Pittsburgh is allowing just 18.8 ppg whole the Titans are scoring 32.8 ppg. Pittsburgh did allow 29 points to the Eagles two weeks ago, which means that the Titans could find some success. But, that will have to be done through the air.
Can a strong #Steelers run defense slow down #DerrickHenry? https://t.co/vQse2GPp1Y
— CBS Local Sports (@CBSLocalSports) October 22, 2020
Tannehill and the passing attack is averaging 273.6 ypg and the Steelers allow 252 passing ypg. So, if the Titans can slow down this Steelers pass rush then they have a chance at success.
The Titans defense is allowing 25.2 ppg while Pittsburgh is scoring 31.2 ppg. Furthermore, Tennessee gives up 422.2 total ypg, 285.2 passing ypg, and 137 rushing ypg. These numbers bode well for a Steelers offense that can be explosive or control the clock depending on their game plan.
I expect Big Ben and this passing attack to have a lot of success on Sunday. I wouldn’t be surprised if Roethlisberger threw for over 300 yards. Additionally, RB Conner could have a big game as well.
Ultimately, the Steelers defense will be the difference in this game. They’re just too good to lose in a shootout. It’s going to take a physical team on both sides of the ball to beat Pittsburgh. Last year’s Titans team would fare better than this year’s Titans team against the Steelers.
I believe Pittsburgh will announce to the league that they’re the best team in the NFL through the first half of the season with a strong performance and solid win on Sunday.
