fter Wyoming granted sports betting licenses to major operators as its sports betting market goes live, BetMGM announced Wednesday the launch of its digital sports betting platform in the state, marking the 14th state in which the company operates.
The BetMGM app offers “a user-friendly sports betting experience”, as described by the company. It facilitates the customization of pre-game, in-play, futures and parlay wagers.
BetMGM’s integration with MGM Resorts’ M life Rewards program gives customers in Wyoming the ability to redeem their gameplay at MGM Resorts properties nationwide.
In an official press release, BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt said: “We’re ecstatic that BetMGM is one of the first mobile sports betting platforms to launch in Wyoming, just in time for the start of the football season. Wyoming is an important state for us as we continue to expand BetMGM’s footprint in the West”.
Sports betting was legalized in Wyoming back in April after House Bill 0133 came into law. Other suppliers which have been granted a license to operate in the state are DraftKings, and Genius Sports.
