aesars Entertainment has unveiled renderings of its new sportsbook and bar in Chase Field, Arizona. The venue, expected to open in early 2022, will be located right outside Chase Field Plaza, following the announcement of their partnership with the Arizona Diamondbacks in May.
The venue will occupy vacant space where Game 7 Grill was located, and will be a two story, 20,000 square-foot building with indoor and outdoor seating. Sports betting, a bar, VIP lounge, and wall-to-wall TVs are slated to be offered within the premises.
“Caesars Sportsbook at Chase Field will bring life to the vision of our brand by celebrating the Caesars promise of treating everyone like royalty,” said Eric Hession, co-president of Caesars Digital in a press release. “These renderings provide a taste of what this incredible new venue will offer, but there’s so much more we can’t wait to show Arizona customers when the space officially opens.”
The sportsbook is set to open year-round, offering options to bet including tellers, kiosks and the Caesars Sportsbook app. Sports can be seen in real time via the TVs within the venue, although the sportsbook will not be accessible during Diamondbacks games. Fans willing to bet throughout said games will have to place wagers inside Chase Field via the Caesars app.
“The Caesars Sportsbook at Chase Field will be the premier sports betting and entertainment destination in downtown Phoenix,” said Derrick Hall, Diamondbacks president & CEO in a statement. He further described the venue as a “state-of-the-art, year-round location” featuring a first-class dining, betting and hospitality experience. “This sportsbook will transform the sports viewing experience in Arizona.”
Arizona will launch sports betting starting Sept. 9, in time for the NFL season. Caesars has been able to accept deposits since Saturday, ahead of the upcoming launch, with its sportsbook app going live earlier this week. Once wagering becomes legal in the state, fans will also be able to make in-person bets at ticket windows 21-25 at Chase Field, which will be the first MLB stadium where customers can place in-person bets.

Caesars has also secured an agreement in Arizona with Fiesta Bowl last month, a “first-ever exclusive sports betting and fantasy gaming partnership” for college football. The deal marks the growing acceptance legal sports gambling has earned in the US, something that was even less contemplated for college sports.
The company isn’t the only one launching sports betting operations in the state. Last month, FanDuel unveiled photos of its first in-stadium sportsbook at Footprint Center, home of the Phoenix Suns and Mercury. It will feature an outdoor terrace and 26 self-service betting terminals, as well as five windows and a sixth VIP one in a MVP room, which also counts with a video wall. There will be 31 HD televisions, and a 42-foot LED video wall.
