What about HAVU? Well, they lost to Complexity in the opening round thanks to a brilliant performance by k0nfig. However, they didn’t let that faze them one bit! They were thrown into the lower bracket and had to play against Virtus.pro. Of course, we all thought they’re going to get stomped by YEKINDAR and Jame… yet they had one of their best displays in a while and, with the help of lady luck, reached the second round.

Of course, one win doesn’t mean anything! We’ll need to dig deeper than that, lads!

Map Depth

Like I’ve already said earlier, Dignitas and HAVU love to play on Dust 2 and Nuke. In fact, they’ve only played on these two maps and Inferno. Could we see a different approach tomorrow? Perhaps Dignitas players opt for Overpass– that’d be an interesting map for them to face HAVU on. On the other end of the server, perhaps HAVU will make a surprising pick of their own – Train could be the answer, by the looks of things.

Individual Qualities

Where do we place these two in terms of individual qualities AKA roster strength? Well, even though both teams play a different game of CSGO, with different gameplay styles across the board, I value Dignitas more here. It’s that special mixture of experience and fragging potential; good mentorship means a lot in CSGO and some of Dignitas’ proven veterans ought to make an impact on their younger colleagues.
