EAG 2023, which will take place January 10-12 at ExCeL London, is on course to be “one of the biggest” of recent times with like-for-like visitor registrations close to 60% (58%) ahead of its 2020 figure, when the event’s last edition took place.
EAG Show Director Nicola Lazenby said in a press release that the organization is announcing these figures prior to December, which is a key month for show registration. “Our campaign message to the market is ‘Be part of the action’, and the invitation appears to be resonating with thousands of operators,” Lazenby said.
Attendees “will have access to a show floor packed with innovation, a business-centric seminar programme and the first ever safer gambling hub dedicated to the low stake low price sector and featuring the industry’s leading safer gambling experts,” the Show Director pointed out.
Outlining the makeup of the EAG show floor, she stated: “Visitors will be coming to EAG for a variety of reasons but the key motivation has to be the access the show provides to the industry’s pre-eminent innovators and games creators.”
Lazenby also confirmed that the list of contracted exhibitors includes brands such as Astrosystems, Blueprint Operations, Crown Leisure, Eurocin, Game Payment Technology, Inspired Entertainment, Novomatic Gaming, Sega Amusements International, and more.
Highlighting the importance of EAG from an industry perspective, Bacta chief executive John White said: “Because of its January scheduling EAG has always been the event at which the industry has set out its stall for the year ahead.”
“If as many commentators and political insiders have suggested the UK government publishes the long-awaited white paper on gambling prior to Christmas, EAG 2023 will be the first opportunity to mobilize the industry and officially launch our strategic response to the recommendations contained within the white paper,” he added.
“All of the conversations that I’ve had with Bacta members regarding EAG have been highly positive and Bacta will be using the wonderful platform the show provides to celebrate the industry that we serve,” White concluded.
