Keep in mind that this is a bo1 encounter, meaning more risk than usual. But, it’s nothing alarming since higher risk means higher reward! With that in mind, let’s see what these two teams have in store for us!
Faze vs. Virtus.pro Betting Predictions
Whether you’re here looking for concrete Faze vs. Virtus.pro picks or you’re just doing casual research on upcoming CSGO betting options, the following three sections will be of service. If you’re new here, you might not know the three key segments we investigate in our esports picks pieces. Form, map depth, and individual qualities – that’s the whole complexity behind a competitive CSGO match. If we can get that right, our chances of winning wagers will be that much higher.
That said, let’s do our best!
Recent Results
Faze Clan weren’t able to fight G2 off in the IEM XVI Summer qualifiers. NiKo and the company pushed through and clinched the final remaining spot on the Finals. But, Faze Clan did win against FURIA which came as a bit of a surprise. Plus, that solid match against G2 perfectly depicts their readiness. If all five players show up for the occasion, Faze Clan can be a very difficult team to play against.
Virtus.pro ought to taste that tomorrow!
They are coming into this match as the favorites, but I’m kind of leaning towards Faze Clans as far as the readiness department is concerned.
Yes, they both had unsuccessful campaigns prior to DH Masters Spring, but I reckon VP made a much larger mess of themselves on both ESL Pro League S13 and Funspark ULTI. Winning against Faze Clan ought to be an imperative, and I’m not sure how exactly they’ll perform under all that pressure very early on.
Map Depth
Virtus.pro have been superb on Inferno and Mirage. However, they did lose Mirage against ForZe, meaning they’re far from invincible on that one. Looking at Faze Clan’s recent stats, the same maps will work fine for them. Mirage and Inferno are statistically their strongest maps, so it will be interesting to see which map they’ll opt for coming into this one.
Remember fellas, this is a bo1 contest we’re talking about here! There’s a ton of upset potential to write home about, so make sure you know the bo1 risks before you invest your hard-earned cash. With that out of our way, let’s focus on the next section of our Faze vs. Virtus.pro tips!
Individual Qualities
There’s no separating these two as far as individual qualities go. We have two very capable sets of players, with several outstanding in-form names; Twistzz and broky on one end, YEKINDAR and Jame on the other. But, despite being on level terms in this department, we still have to give you guys concrete picks. Here they come:
I just had to side with Faze Clan here. They finally got some steam going, and I reckon it’s just what they need to push Virtus.pro aside in the opener. Twistzz and broky are in fine form – if coldzera can add some much-needed contribution to the mix, I’m sure Faze Clan will get the upper hand here. At +105, the odds could be better, but hey – we have to be happy with what we have!
That settles our story for today! Check back tomorrow for a closer look at the most valuable second-round contest and check out our complete betting preview for DreamHack Masters Spring 2021!
May the odds be in your favor.
