G2E unveils keynote speakers featuring MGM, Wynn, Hard Rock CEOs

he Global Gaming Expo (G2E) announced its keynote speakers on Thursday, with a panel of three leader gaming executives –appearing for the first time together– set to discuss “the ever-evolving commercial and tribal gaming landscape,” states a press release.

The CEO panel features industry global leaders Hard Rock International’s Jim Allen, MGM Resorts International’s Bill Hornbuckle, and Wynn Resorts’ Matt Maddox will headline the keynote stage when G2E 2021 returns to Las Vegas from October 4-7.

G2E is presented by the American Gaming Association (AGA), and organized by RX (Reed Exhibitions). This year’s edition will reflect “the resilience, innovation, and leadership” that’s propelled gaming forward, said AGA President and CEO Bill Miller.

“We’re excited to welcome a robust lineup of the top names and brightest minds in this industry,” added Miller. “These collective insights couldn’t be more important as we forge the path ahead after one of the most challenging years in gaming history.”

Miller is set to kick off the show on Tuesday, October 5 at 8:45 a.m. PT, with a welcome address reflecting on gaming’s road to recovery. His remarks will be followed by Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak and U.S. Rep. Dina Titus (NV-1), who will speak on navigating the COVID-19 pandemic, the dynamic role gaming plays across the state, and delivering for the state of Nevada.

Tuesday afternoon will see G2E debut an afternoon keynote session at 1:00 p.m. PT, Gaming & Diversity: Pushing the Industry Forward, featuring MGM Resorts International Chief People, Inclusion & Sustainability Officer Jyoti Chopra, U.S. Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Suzanne Clark, and Marriott International Senior Vice President, Multicultural Affairs, Social Impact and Business Councils Apporva Gandhi.

Newly announced speakers Allen, Hornbuckle and Maddox are set to take part in the Raising the Stakes: Gaming Leaders Take on the Future of the Industry keynote session, on Wednesday, October 6, at 9:00 a.m. PT. CNBC’s Contessa Brewer will lead the discussion among the gaming CEOs. The Wednesday afternoon keynote will be announced “in the coming weeks.”

G2E’s full education line-up will begin with G2E Connects: Working Together to Find Solutions on Monday, October 4 at 3:00 p.m. PT. AGA Vice President Global Events Meredith Pallante and G2E Event Director Korbi Carrison will welcome the gaming community “for collaborative conversations” on promoting productivity through inclusivity in the workforce, building careers through mentorship, and adapting to customers’ changing needs.
