Goodwood Tips – Friday’s Racing

With much of the UK and Ireland suffering heavy downpours overnight, it could be a good day for horses that show their best form on the heavy and soft.

13:20 – Spanish Star – 9/2 >>>

May well shine bright on his return to Goodwood after winning here in impressive style last year. Posted a decent second on first attempt at 7F two weeks ago.

15:00 – Tigerten – 7/1 >>>

Could claw his way into contention as he moves up in trip today. First and second place finishes on recent outings at Catterick and Hamilton add to claims.

15:30 – Pettochside – 3/1 >>>

Plucky veteran who has plenty of decent Goodwood showings to his name; will relish the conditions here with the going soft in this part of Sussex.
