International Game Technology (IGT) announced Thursday that it will expand its sports betting footprint in Washington state via a new multi-year agreement with Kalispel Tribal Economic Authority, a business arm of the Kalispel Tribe of Indians who owns and operates Kalispel Casino in Cusick, Washington. IGT’s PlaySports technology and trading advisory services will power the casino’s soon-to-open retail sportsbook.
This is IGT’s second sports betting venture in Washington State with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians. In December 2021, IGT deployed its PlaySports technology and trading advisory services at the Turf Club Sportsbook in Northern Quest Resort & Casino in Airway Heights, Washington.
In an official press release, Kevin Zenishek, Northern Quest Resort & Casino and Kalispel Casino, Executive Director of Casino Operations, spoke about this new agreement and said: “We’re excited to roll out sports betting for our guests at Kalispel Casino. It has already proven to be a fantastic new amenity at Northern Quest and we know it will be popular at our Kalispel Casino as well.”
