International Game Technology has announced that its Wheel of Fortune and Powerbucks slots awarded three million-dollar-plus jackpots over the month of June in North America. With this new slate of jackpots, IGT Powerbucks has now awarded its 50th prize of more than $1 million dollars in Canada.
Lucky Wheel of Fortune and Powerbucks slots players won the following jackpots last month:
- On June 25, an online Powerbucks slots player won CAD $1,533,377 playing Wheel of Fortune Hawaiian Getaway in New Brunswick, Canada.
- On June 27, a Wheel of Fortune slots player won $1,330,134 playing Wheel of Fortune Triple Double Emeralds at Michael Gaughan Airport Slots at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada.

IGT Powerbucks slots have now paid 50 jackpots of $1 million or more since their Canadian debut in 2016. Wheel of Fortune slots have minted over 1,100 millionaires and awarded over $3.5 billion in jackpots since their launch in 1996, notes IGT.
The Wheel of Fortune slot is inspired by the popular Wheel of Fortune TV program, which reaches more than 25 million weekly viewers. Trademarked as America’s Game, it has earned seven Emmy Awards including a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Game/Audience Participation Show.
Back in May, IGT’s Wheel of Fortune slots awarded three million-dollar-plus jackpots totaling more than $6.3 million. Lucky players in Wisconsin, New Jersey and Las Vegas were the ones to receive the millionaire prizes.
Earlier in the year, IGT signed a ten-year licensing agreement with Sony Pictures Television that grants the company exclusive rights to the Wheel of Fortune brand across gaming, lottery, iGaming, and iLottery and non-exclusive rights to distribute Wheel of Fortune content for free-to-play social casinos. The contract will run from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2034.
