Enable has already guaranteed her place in racing’s hall of fame.
Tomorrow she can take another step towards sporting immortality, as she bids for a third King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Qipco Stakes at Ascot.
A win would see her become the first horse to win this renewal three times.
With only three rivals standing in her way, the question on every racing fan’s lips is… can anyone realistically stop her?
Here are our betting tips for a bumper day of racing at Ascot…

All eyes will be on Enable (4/7) non Saturday afternoon…
And rightly so.
She’s one of racing’s current superstars, and there’s little to suggest that star will be on the wane on Saturday afternoon, as the six-year-old returns to Ascot seeking a third win in four years in the day’s feature race.
She warmed up nicely in placing second in the Eclipse at Sandown on her reappearance. That was no disgrace after a 273-day break from action, and she looks the stand-out candidate again in a relatively low-key renewal with just four entries for 2020. That small line-up might be telling.
In truth, Enable looks every inch a worthy three-time champion over this trip, but if any of her rivals are capable of being within striking range to cause a shock, it’s the sure-footed Sovereign (11/1).
Aidan O’Brien’s four-year-old pulled off an almighty upset at the Curragh back in 2019, landing the Irish Derby at long-shot odds of 33/1. He eased past highly fancied stablemate Anthony Van Dyck to land one of the biggest prizes in Irish racing, and the two will do battle again for O’Brien at Ascot on Saturday.
Former Derby winner Anthony Van Dyck (12/1) deserves respect in this high-class field, but his chances of another landmark win look remote. He’s rarely looked like replicating that form since and was comfortably beaten by Ghaiyyath in the Coronation Cup in June – his best showing since his career best at Epsom.
O’Brien’s third shot at edging out Enable is consistent performer Japan (11/4). He couldn’t keep the pace with Enable in the Eclipse but may have more to offer over this longer trip and often saves his bet for this course. He’ll need it tomorrow if Enable is to leave Ascot empty-handed.
