Las Vegas sports teams, including the NFL’s Raiders and the Golden Knights professional hockey team, are maintaining their Coronavirus vaccination policies in place. And that means all fans will have to show proof of a Covid vaccination to enter the teams home games.
These announcements should not come as a surprise, given the direction of the state’s health situation and mandate of Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak about large events. And in this particular case, it’s more of a “pick your poison” type of situation.
To explain, the Governor said that events have but two options: 1) Require all fans to wear face masks regardless of their vaccination status, or; 2) Require that all fans are vaccinated for entry, in which case no one will be forced to wear a mask.
This policy extends to all Las Vegas sports teams as well as others in the state. That including events for the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV), the WNBA Aces, the Aviators minor league baseball team, and any UGC events held in the state.
