Additionally, each conference saw two of the three Wild Card teams advance to the next round. This has led to a Divisional Round filled with intriguing matchups, underdogs, and a battle of Hall of Fame QBs.

Super Bowl LV Betting Odds

The following odds are courtesy of BetOnline:

  • Kansas City Chiefs (+200)
  • Green Bay Packers (+400)
  • Buffalo Bills (+500)
  • New Orleans Saints (+550)
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+650)
  • Baltimore Ravens (+700)
  • Los Angeles Rams (+2000)
  • Cleveland Browns (+2500)

Kansas City Chiefs (+200)

The Kansas City Chiefs have been widely considered as the best team in the NFL all season long. In fact, they’ve also been the Super Bowl favorites since the preseason.

Kansas City had an extra week to rest and now they will play against the Cleveland Browns. Currently, the Chiefs are favored by 10 points against the Browns.

Additionally, the Chiefs are the odds on favorite to win the AFC as well with odds listed at -130. A big reason why they’re the AFC favorites is because they have home field advantage throughout the Playoffs.

If the Chiefs get past the Browns, as expected, then they will play against the winner of the Bills vs Ravens. Kansas City already defeated both teams this year.

If they make it to the Super Bowl, they could play against the Packers, Saints or Buccaneers. KC already beat the Saints and Bucs this season.

Green Bay Packers (+400)

Like the Chiefs, the Green Bay Packers had the first round bye and will now host the Los Angeles Rams and their top ranked defense in the Divisional Round. Packers are a 6 ½ point favorite against the Rams for Saturday’s matchup.

The Packers are +130 odds to win the NFC Championship because they have home field advantage and one of the best offenses in the NFL.

Furthermore, the Packers already defeated the Saints this year, but did have their worst performance of the season against the Bucs. Can the Rodgers to Adams combo lead the Pack all the way to the Super Bowl?

Buffalo Bills (+500)

The Buffalo Bills won their first Playoff game since 1995 when they held on to defeat the Indianapolis Colts in the Wild Card Round. It was a thrilling game that came down to the last play.

The Bills have seen their AFC Championship odds and Super Bowl odds improve after the win. Their AFC odds are now listed at +300 as they host the Baltimore Ravens in the Divisional Round.

Currently, the Bills are favored by one point over the Ravens as this spread is shaping up to be listed at Even or a one point in either direction.

For Buffalo to get to the Super Bowl, let alone win it, they will have to beat the Ravens and then head to Kansas City to upend the Chiefs. That’s a tall task for any team.

New Orleans Saints (+550)

The New Orleans Saints had a relatively easy Wild Card Round matchup against the Chicago Bears as they cruised into the Divisional Round to take on their NFC South rival the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Saints swept the Bucs in the regular season.

New Orleans is listed at +225 odds to win the NFC Championship and is a 3 point favorite over the Bucs. The Saints have a balanced offense and a top ranked defense built to handle Tampa’s offense. But, are they built to handle the Packers offense at Lambeau Field?

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+650)

As mentioned, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a three point underdog against the Saints and a +300 value play to win the NFC Championship. Their Super Bowl odds improved from +1000 to +650 after dispatching the Washington Football Team in the Wild Card Round.

For the Bucs to get to the Super Bowl, they will need to beat the Saints on the road and then head outdoors to beat the Packers on the road. It’s certainly a tough task for any team. Yet, no other team has The Goat at quarterback like the Bucs do with Tom Brady.

Baltimore Ravens (+700)

When the Baltimore Ravens made their late season run into the Playoffs, they were one of the teams that many pundits said that nobody will want to play.

After a big win at Tennessee in the Wild Card Round, which avenged their last two losses to the Titans, the Ravens are even more dangerous now than they were a week ago.

The win got the pressure of QB Lamar Jackson’s back especially after going 0-2 in the Playoffs his first two year.

Baltimore is the one road team with the best shot at winning in the Divisional Round as they head to Buffalo, which is a team that struggles against the run. The Ravens have the #1 rush offense in the league.

Yet, for the Ravens to go to the Super Bowl, Jackson will have to outduel Josh Allen and then Patrick Mahomes. That’s a big hill to climb which is why the Ravens are listed at +350 odds to win the AFC.

Los Angeles Rams (+2000)

Buffalo and Cleveland had the biggest storylines in the Wild Card Round as they exorcised the demons of futility that spanned decades.

However, it was the Los Angeles Rams that overcame the biggest issues on the field after losing their starting QB and returning to Jared Goff who lost the confidence of some coaches and teammates with a subpar season down the stretch.

With that said, the Rams overcame the on-field adversity to pull off the road win against divisional foe the Seattle Seahawks. Now, they head to Green Bay in the Divisional Round to try and limit an explosive Green Bay offense.

The Rams are listed at +800 odds to win the NFC, which might be a longshot worth considering. If they can get past the Packers, the Rams have a good shot against the Saints and the Bucs. Los Angeles already beat Tampa Bay during the regular season.

Cleveland Browns (+2500)

It’s no surprise that the Browns are the biggest underdogs to win the Super Bowl. They’re also the biggest underdogs to win the AFC at +1400 and the biggest underdog of the Divisional Round as they are getting 10 points at Kansas City.

The Cleveland Browns pulled off a huge upset during the Wild Card Round when they defeated the Steelers who have dominated them the last decade.

Now, they head to Kansas City where they face the best team in the league. The Browns do have one of the best rushing attacks in the league, which they will need to lean on to try and win the battle in time of possession.

Could the Browns be a team of destiny by upsetting every team on their way to the Super Bowl?

Who Will Win Super Bowl LV?

In the AFC, the Chiefs are positioned nicely with an easier game against the Browns while they watch the Bills and Ravens beat each other up. Whoever wins that war of attrition will travel to KC and most likely lose in a shootout.

In the NFC, I still like the winner of the Saints and Bucs to represent the NFC. Although the Packers have the NFL MVP, Tampa already crushed Green Bay this year and the Saints are finally healthy which they weren’t when they played the Packers in the regular season.

I’m sticking with the Chiefs vs Saints in the Super Bowl with Kansas City winning it. However, the Saints at +550 offer solid betting value as do the Bucs at +650 and the Packers at +400.

The Chiefs at +200 is still a steal. Their odds will continue to shrink as they get closer to the Super Bowl.
