Liquid vs. MIBR Betting Predictions
But wait, didn’t Liquid and MIBR square off in BLAST Premier Spring group C just a few days ago? Yessir, they played in the elimination round of group C. Liquid took the big W with 2:0 on the scoreboard. It was a pretty easy and straightforward match with EliGE racking in impressive 45 kills over two (relatively short) maps.
Regarding these Liquid vs. MIBR picks, should we expect anything different this time around? Well, I don’t think so, really. But, let’s not jump to any conclusions and check out the cold hard facts first!
Form
MIBR’s 2020 was terrible, to say the least. They had just a handful of solid runs, but ended the year without a single title. Now that they’ve disbanded their old roster and invested into ex Boom Esports, I honestly think their title drought will extend through this whole year too.
As for Team Liquid, their 2020 was not good, not terrible. The start of 2021 brought forth a solid BLAST Premier Global Final Result. Nothing too fancy, fourth place – but it’s something to build upon for the boys in blue.
Map Depth
What’s the secret weapon in the arsenal of every good enthusiast? Map pool knowledge, that’s what! Even though its importance for match-winner wagers isn’t to be taken for granted, a proper level of map pool knowledge will take you a long way via total maps and correct score wagers. Experienced bettors can get into the minds of both teams and predict which maps they’re going to opt for. It’s something you can’t learn, it takes years of CSGO betting expertise to “acquire” that special perk.
As far as this matchup goes, we’ve seen Liquid destroy MIBR on Vertigo and Inferno. Additionally, the boys in blue should also be comfortable on Overpass and Nuke. MIBR will try to force either Mirage or Dust 2 for this match, meaning you should experiment with correct score wagers here.
Roster Strengths
It takes no genius to realize just how much stronger Liquid’s roster is when compared to that of MIBR. Even though they’re now playing under new colors and (probably) have a more professional environment to thrive in, we’re still talking about Boom Esports roster. They haven’t had any major domestic successes, and I honestly don’t think that’ll change anytime soon… especially not on a massive international event such as this one.
So yeah, as far as roster quality is concerned, there’s only one winner here, and it’s Team Liquid. Whether we’re talking about EliGE or Stewie, or the remaining guys – Liquid’s individual talent greatly exceeds that of MIBR.
Liquid vs. MIBR Picks
Nothing too fancy for this one, fellas! Our main goal here is to kickstart our IEM Katowice World Championship betting campaign with a couple of wins. Liquid vs. MIBR picks are first in line. We’re going to do a follow-up with another set of picks, most likely Renegades vs. Mousesports predictions since they’re promising plenty of value on both ends.
Why Team Liquid?
Well, not only have they won their last head-to-head matchup just three days ago, but they’ve done so in quite the fashion. Plus, they are in much better form than the Brazilians and have a more versatile roster now that FalleN has finally settled in (to some extent). And that’s all it took to sway Liquid vs. MIBR picks in the direction of Stewie2K and the boys in blue.
With those words, I’d like to wrap things up here and focus on the next match!
Thanks for sticking through to the very end.
Cheers!
