oaring Eagle Casino & Resort has announced that it will begin offering sports betting in mid-January at its Ascend Sports Book & Lounge in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.
The property plans to take advantage of its well-known and well-regarded brand, its strong customer relationships, and its bricks and mortar amenities to attract and reward sports bettors, Fox News reports. Soaring Eagle will add sports betting to its existing offerings, which include slots, table games, bingo, entertainment and numerous restaurants and bars.
Chief Executive Officer, Mike Bean said: “We will be upgrading Ascend, an already great venue, to accommodate sports betting. Changes will include more televisions, betting kiosks, a betting window and a ticker tape. The improvements will be in phases, initially starting with kiosk betting until the betting window modifications are complete.”
Similarly, sports betting will be offered at sister property Saganing Eagles Landing Casino & Hotel in Standish, at its Creekside Lounge, and at The Slot Palace and Bingo Hall in Mount Pleasant.
Bean said they would be announcing their sports betting technology partner in the near future.
