our Winds Casinos unveiled a new sportsbook lounge at Michigan’s Four Winds New Buffalo on Monday.
According to a press release, the new space features 22 televisions, including eight 85-inch, six 65-inch, and eight 43-inch screens.
Guests will be able to access the sportsbook lounge through the main entrance near the sportsbook kiosks “and choose from a variety of comfortable seating options” including luxurious sectional sofas and lounge chairs.
The new space is also set to feature casual dining tables with chairs and bar stool seating at a large sports bar, which will be open Monday-Thursday 4 p.m.-12 a.m; and Friday and Saturday 2 p.m.-2 a.m.; and Sunday 2 p.m.-10 p.m.
On the importance of this new sportsbook lounge, Frank Freedman, Chief Operating Officer of Four Winds Casinos said: “We are very excited to welcome guests to our new sportsbook lounge at Four Winds New Buffalo to meet the growing demand for sports betting in Michigan.”
Guests at the casino will be able to wager on sports including football, basketball, baseball, hockey, and more. These options are also available in other businesses owned by the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians, including Four Winds Hartford and Four Winds Dowagiac. Bets can be placed at Four Winds’ sports betting terminals or by creating a bet slip on phone and placing the bet in house.
“We feel the layout, design and finishes will provide guests with the right ambiance, comfortable seating options and great views of multiple screens to enjoy a refreshing beverage or cocktail while cheering for their favorite teams,” further added Freedman. “Every addition we’ve made to our Four Winds Casinos locations has been for the sole purpose of enhancing the guest experience and we are thrilled to be able to offer this new amenity at Four Winds New Buffalo.”
Earlier this month, the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians unveiled new Class III gaming amenities at its Four Winds South Bend casino, including 16 table games featuring blackjack, baccarat, craps, roulette, and more.
The South Bend casino currently has 140,000 square feet of gaming space, including more than 1,400 games, four restaurants, a coffee shop and three bars. Expansion is currently underway, which will include the construction of a 23-story hotel tower with 3117 rooms and 83 suites; plus a spa, convention area, meeting space, more. Construction is expected to be completed by 2023.
