ew COVID protection at River Spirit and other casinos in the state. Muscogee Creek Nation Casinos is installing indoor purification technology across all nine of its facilities.
“It’s a very extensive system, it’s a big investment, but it’s very, very effective,” said Pat Crofts, CEO, Muscogee (Creek) Nation Casinos. “Proven clinically to be effective. And thats what its all about, the safety of our customers and our employees.
AtmosAir solutions’ bi-polar ionization technology to clean the air installed in the casinos is 99.92% effective in neutralizing coronavirus in the air and on surfaces.
The device does not disperse any harsh chemicals, radiation or any other by-product and also fits into any HVAC unit. The technology is appealing to many in the hospitality industry, including Mike Bausch, owner of Andolini’s Pizzeria.
“It releases positive and negative ions out into the space,” said Joe Cooper, Regional Sales Manager, AtmosAir Solutions. “And the ions attach themselves to particles in the air and eliminates them.”
“It has all kinds of applications, it’s not just for casinos,” said Cooper. “We’re in a lot of hospitals. We’re in cruise ships, we’re in sports stadiums.”
The installation at River Spirit Casino was completed on December 7th. Cooper says they’ve seen a noticeable improvement in air quality. While it’s being used to fight COVID now, it could become a standard across all indoor facilities in the very near future.
