iGaming industry content provider Pragmatic Play announced Monday it has strengthened its position in Buenos Aires City, Argentina, following the approval of its Live Casino content by the capital city’s regulator. The development will see the company become one of the first brands to receive clearance for its games within this vertical in the territory.
Lotería de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires (LOTBA) has approved a selection of Pragmatic Play’s Live Casino portfolio for delivery to operators in the jurisdiction. The titles covered by the approval include Blackjack, Roulette, Auto Roulette, Speed Roulette, Baccarat, Speed Baccarat, Mega Roulette, Sweet Bonanza Candyland, Mega Wheel and ONE Blackjack.
“Already holding a prominent position with its slots vertical in the local market, the approval now allows a further key strand of the supplier’s multi-product offering to be available to operators and is set to drive further growth in Buenos Aires City,” the said in a statement.
Pragmatic Play's Victor Arias
In a press release, Victor Arias, Vice President of Latin American Operations at Pragmatic Play, said: “This is fantastic news for Pragmatic Play and bodes extremely well for our growth ambitions in Argentina. Our multi-vertical proposition is a vital USP for us in every market we operate in and the approval of our Live Casino games in Buenos Aires City is going to allow us to reach more partners and players here than ever before.”
Pragmatic Play has recently expanded its Live Casino offering through the introduction of two new baccarat variants. Unveiled last week, Fortune 6 and Super 8 Baccarat aim to provide “an exciting update” to the classic game by featuring additional decision-making through unique side bet opportunities, thus providing more ways to win.
