I
nternational operators Betcris, Betsson Group, Codere, and Kaizen Gaming lead the way in the race for the inaugural SBC Awards Latinoamérica, with multiple nominations on the shortlists announced on Friday.
Also in the running for the top prizes are suppliers SG Digital, Nsoft, BetConstruct, Ezugi, Altenar, and Aristocrat Technologies, along with affiliates such as BetanDeal Group, Oddspedia, and Super Afiliados.
The winners of all 22 categories will be announced during a ceremony at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami on October 28, 2021, the second day of the SBC Summit Latinoamérica conference and exhibition.
One of Betcris’s seven nominations comes in the Sportsbook of the Year category, where it will face strong competition from Betsson Group, Codere, Coolbet, Kaizen Gaming, Rush Street Interactive, and Sportsbet.io.
Another of Betsson Group’s six nominations is for the Casino Operator of the Year honor, in which the high-quality field includes Codere, Coolbet, Genesis Global, Kaizen Gaming, and Rush Street Interactive.
The Rising Star of the Year category sees multinational operators compete against local brands, on a shortlist that features BetMaster, BOSS. Gaming Solutions, Genesis Global, Kaizen Gaming, Logrand Entertainment Group, Onlyplay, Rivalo, and Tenlot Group.

The entries for the operator categories back that up and the judges have been hugely impressed by both the approach of local businesses and the localized offerings of the global players. The shortlists really demonstrate the level of competition and the excellent standards in markets across the region.”
Among the big names up for the supplier awards are SG Digital, Nsoft, BetConstruct, Ezugi, Altenar, Aristocrat Technologies, Golden Race, BtoBet, Genius Sports, Stats Perform, SIS, Pragmatic Play, Pronet Gaming, Betby, BetGames, Habanero, TVBET, Pinnacle Solution, Digitain, UltraPlay, Sportingtech, and SOFTSWISS.
There are also four nominations for BetanDeal Group, including in the hotly-contested Affiliate of the Year category, where the shortlist features Afiliapub, DT9 Media, Eightroom, Kahuna Projects, Mortimedia, Oddspedia, and Super Afiliados.
Sojmark added: “The shortlists for the supplier and affiliate categories are also of the highest quality. The presence of so many of the major international suppliers with excellent localized products demonstrates what an important region Latin America is for the betting and gaming industry.”
