Even though the Governor of Nevada lifted COVID restrictions, capacity limits, and social distancing, a small group of Las Vegas casinos still remained closed… and most likely will stay that way for another six months to a year.
Word from Texas Station and Fiesta Rancho is that the properties will remain shuttered for another six months at minimum. The closure could be longer, but you should not expect these resorts to re-open before 2022.
It’s worse news for Fiesta Henderson, as there are no reopening plans in place at this time. The word is that the property will remain closed for at least another year.
And even worse than that are the plans (or lack of plans) for reopening Eastside Cannery and/or the Palms. Both properties remain closed with no expected date set to open their doors.
The only bright spot for the Las Vegas casinos which remain closed comes from Main Street Station. There are plans for that casino to welcome guests back before the end of the year.
